Mammoth Cave is not known for its formations. Rather than being a well decorated cave, it is simply a cave of mighty size and length (discovered passage covers a total of about 350 miles). I was fortunate to have gone on the tour that takes you to the only known part of Mammoth Cave that has decorations.
