When I first visited Mt. Davis it was nearly dark and the weather conditions were so cold, snowy, and windy, that I had little interest in being outside of the car for any longer than necessary to get the "I was there" pictures. Twelve years later in life I find myself frequently driving between Ohio and Maryland for work. Mt. Davis isn't very far off my preferred route. After my latest trip to Maryland I decided to revisit Mt. Davis and pay it a bit more time. Even though it was July this time, it was still chilly for the season - low 60s, breezy, and drizzly.
