Just as the guidebook indicates, this high point is quite trashed and unkempt -- obviously not a spot of great joy or pride for Mississippi. The hill is interesting, however, in that it is more or less solitary rather than one amid a group of numerous hills. There are many radio towers at the summit of Woodall Mountain taking advantage of excellent reception!
