50 High Points
 Idaho - Borah Peak (12,662') - September 04, 2004
For the long Labor Day weekend Randy and I decided to embark on an adventure to ID to gather yet another state highpoint. We pulled into the trailhead around 10:00p Friday night. We woke early and set out on the trail by 7:15a local time. The route was steep steep steep! You start at 7,200' and gain ~5,400' in under 3.5 miles! After 6 hours of laboring up the steep incline and easily handling "chicken out ridge" we reached the summit!

The view from the summit encompassing the steep ascent route. The route begins more or less in the trees at the far right and makes its way all the way up to the sharp ridge line stretching across all three pictures. You then bear left staying a bit below ridgeline until you reach the col/saddle, at which point you begin the final 1,000' steep slog up to the summit!
