While enjoying lunch in the park where the high point is nestled, the local sheriff stopped in to refill the water bowl for the dog in his squad car. We talked with him for a moment about the area. We learned that not only is Britton Hill Florida's high point, its also Florida's "high" point. It took us a few moments to catch his reference ... a good indication to him that we were clean!
