The USGS marker is located near the base of the large sign pictured above, embedded in a stone "map" of Arkansas. It was really quite interesting but lack of light prevented us from capturing its image.

After completing Signal Hill it was dinner time and the town of Altus was not too far away. What was the motivation for visiting a town of a mere 800 people? The Simple Life, the FOX television show featuring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie! We ate at the Sonic drive-up restaurant they worked at for one day and got a shot of the grocery store they ran into wearing milkshake costumes -- it was quite an experience indeed!!
