Storm Chasing
I have been involved in storm chasing since May 1997. Since moving to CA, however, where there are very very few convective storm systems, my participation has waned tremendously. Storm chasing is an exciting way to learn a great deal of information about severe storms. Its become a bit too popular and "main stream" lately, though, removing a lot of the initial appeal for me.
