My friend Tracey had seen one of the scarves I've knitted and really liked it. So I decided to make one for her birthday. She loves purple so I used "gothic" Lion Brand Homespun yarn. I DO NOT recommend this yarn to anyone! It was such a bear to work with. It is very soft and pretty, but the fibers slip along the internal thread, causing it to bunch and bunch as you work w/ it.
I casted on 18 stitches using size US 11 (8.0mm) needles. For each row, *k3,p3 repeat from * to end. Continue until you reach a desired length.
