Knitting Projects - Blankets
 Elizabeth's Dolly Blanket
Elizabeth's Dolly Blanket
Elizabeth's Dolly Blanket
I got even more daring with this blanket! I had learned how to work in another kind/type of yarn. For every 12 rows of green yarn, I worked in 8 rows of the mottled yarn used in Hannah's Dolly Blanket. The stitch I used is called moss stitch. It is 2 rows of 1 knit, 1 purl. Then 2 rows of 1 purl, 1 knit. Those two rows are alternated throughout the length of the blanket. I crocheted the edges to tidy up any loose spots and to make it more dynamic. I used US 10 (6.0 mm) needles and a 5.0 mm crochet hook. I casted on 58 stitches. The blanket measures 15"x20".
