Knitting Projects - Blankets

I got a bit more creative for this blanket. I had just learned how to rib, so I went for it with the 2nd dolly blanket. I casted on 60 stitches. The first and last 5 rows (or so) are garter stitch. All rows in between are 5 stitches of knit, 5 stitches of purl, alternating till the end. I used US 11 (8.0 mm) needles. The yarn is acrylic. I did not get a chance to measure the dimensions but it fits a newborn perfectly!
