Knitting Projects - Letters

This is done in two pieces. The first piece, the leg of the K, is all garter stitch with ~4 stitches casted on. I gauged the length of the leg based on the size of the "v" part of the K.
To make the "v" part of the K:
Cast on 4 stitches
Knit 2 rows
Decrease 1, knit 1, increase 1, knit 1
Knit 4 stitches
* repeat these last 2 steps 6 times
Decrease 1, knit 2
Knit 3 stitches
Decrease 1, knit 1
Knit 2 stitches
Repeat all of these directions in reverse order to get the other half of the "v".
This part is all done in one piece.
