Our 10 Year Reunion was a wild success thanks to the 56 classmates who attended the two-day event.

On Friday night, our classmates gathered for an Ice Breaker Party in the Tangier Bistro. A total of 43 classmates were on hand that evening, and a good time was had by all!

On Saturday night, 47 classmates attended the semi-formal reunion in the stunning Tangier Dining Room. Stacey Gentile and Marc Urdiales [Class of 1997] lent a helping hand at the registration table then joined the event as guests of our class.

The Saturday festivities began with a Meet and Greet Cocktail Hour followed by a three-course buffet-style dinner. Following dessert, the class observed a moment of silence in memory of deceased classmates Chris White and Christian Stinner. After this observance, awards were presented to the winners of our 2006 Reunion Superlatives, as voted on by our fellow classmates.

After the presentations, classmates were able to enjoy the entertainment options provided. Many classmates and guests hit the dance floor and sang along to tunes from the 80s, 90s, and today. Others seized the opportunity to catch up with fellow classmates, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones. Still others visited the display tables set up around the room.

One table featured a candle-lit memorial to Chris and Christian. Another table held a map of the United States, inviting classmates to place push pins on the map to mark the cities in which they currently live or have lived since graduation. The final table showed the video yearbooks produced during our 7th-12th grade years -- the laughter abounded!

Another event of the evening was a 50/50 raffle drawing. We managed to raise $222 for the Lauren Braman Instrument Fund. The raffle winner was Drew Roggenburk, Heather McDonald's guest, who donated all proceeds back to the cause.

In the end, a wonderful time was had by all! Before the party broke up, there was already quite a bit of buzz about when the next reunion would be held. It is the sincere hope of the committee and the classmates who attended that many more of our classmates will join us in 2011, as we celebrate 15 years!
